about

I wrote this song after spending several years exploring the rich and diverse musical world of Brazil. Portuguese is a language I was studying at the time purely with the desire to sing the songs of 1960's Brazil. I didn't really plan to write in Portuguese but it suits the style and also masked the meaning of a story I found difficult to tell.
It did appear on a 'best of' album called Edge of Spring in 2006. The CD has sold out long ago.
